The Trainer Wife
I wish I could figure out what it is about me that makes guys want to get married. The funny thing about it is that it's not me they want to marry. Its always the next girl they date. Two of my exes, within the past 5 years, have married the first woman they dated after me. Another one got tricked into having had a kid with the next one. And now another one is planning on proposing.
Remember the ex from 10 years ago that I was bitching about? I had gottenfucking sick of tired of listening to him go on and on about sex and dating and all of that crap. He had asked me about online dating sites where he could find something "casual". So I told him to go to Craigslist.
All of a sudden, I wasn't hearing from him anymore. He went from texting me every single day to texting me like every few weeks. Turns out he did meet some chick on Craigslist. Ha! I figured he must be getting some from somewhere since he wasn't bugging me anymore.
Well that was about 3 months ago. He texted me again last night, telling me how great this girl is, how its such a healthy relationship, blahblahblah. I jokingly told him to send me an invitation to the wedding. He said he hasn't asked her yet. Yet.... Oh but he plans to.
Three months, they've been dating. Fuuuuuck.
Oh well. Better them than me.

Secret Lives of Women
I know all about "secret lives" and I've had my own. But now there's a show on WE (Women's Entertainment? Is that what that stands for?) called "Secret Lives of Women". I tried watching it once, expecting they would feature all of these edgy women - tattooed soccer moms, teacher by day/stripper by night, body building PTA president - but it turned out to be something boring like female gangbangers or something. (No, I'm not referring to gangbangers as in participant of a gang bang. It was about female gang members. You know - Bloods and Crips stuff.) When you're used to watching true crime shows several nights a week, there's nothing exciting about women who have "secret lives" as a gang member.
But tonight I was flipping through channels and I ran across a new episode of "Secret Lives of Women" about porn stars. Rock! On! I ♥ porn. I have a fondness for it that goes beyond just being a reluctant viewer like most women. Most women don't know anything about porn. Hell a lot of them won't even watch it much less learn anything about it. Me? I can give you names, I can give you lists of movies that my favorites have done (Raquel Darrien, Chasey Lain - those were the good old days. Porn has changed a lot in the last ten years.) I've followed the AVN Awards the way some people follow the Oscars.
This is just fascinating for me. Three of the women are Tera Patrick, Gina Lynn, and Nicki Hunter. One of the women - well....one of the women isn't even a woman. Its Buck Angel, the first ever female-to-male transexual porn star. Right on!
Man, I really miss being involved in that whole genre, industry, lifestyle, whatever. Oh no, no, no, I never worked in the porn industry. I just sold it and rented it at a video store and later worked as a phone sex operator. Ikinda never wanted to be in porn, I was just a fan. It was more of a hobby. A hobby that I gave up a few years ago.
The whole point of this post was to let you guys know about this show because I'm guessing there are a few people who read this blog that are single guys and therefore have probably never even heard of this show or even this channel. So check your cable guide and see if you have WE and then watch for this show.
